Topgolf is coming to Wichita. The Dallas- based brand announced it would be bringing a single-story version of its concept to the city. While the company did not confirm, city records indicate the site will likely by north of 13th and Greenwich . Plans for a 24,000-square-foot entertainment complex were presented at planning meeting earlier in the month. This would be in addition to the new BigShots , a similar concept coming to Greenwich Place later this year.

Construction started on a new self-storage facility on the east side. The project will include 21 storage buildings, located behind the QuikTrip at 143rd and Kellogg . The facility will be about 350 units and 81,000 square feet. The project will be called More Stor Self Storage and is expected to be completed in October. The facility will feature regular storage units as well as climate- controlled units.

Reiloy USA , a company which works on component technology in the plastics industry, is expanding its local facilities. Reiloy currently occupies 54,000 square feet at the Maize Industrial Park and announced plans to build an additional building. The new building will be on 13 acres near the current facility and, along with new machinery, will cost up to $20 million. The expansion will bring the Maize Industrial Park to 100% occupancy.

The stretch of North Ridge Road between 29th and K-96 is getting its first fast food restaurant. A new Wendy’s location is being built at 3751 N. Ridge Road . The section of Ridge has been the site of numerous commercial projects over the past few years, with a large number of financial and medical office users. Recently, Village Tours completed its new headquarters facility in the area. The Wendy’s is being developed by a California-based developer and should be ready in the coming weeks.

Cox Communications announced an expansion of its downtown facility. The company plans to add 3,000 square feet to its 10,000-square-foot building at 801 E. Douglas . The addition is necessary for the company to continue expand its offering of gigabit services to the community. The building houses the generators that support the service. Cox will build onto the north side of the building into area currently used for parking.

Twin Lakes Shopping Center is for sale. The 198,000-square-foot center is located at 21st and Amidon and is nearly six decades old. Twin Lakes is currently 64 percent occupied. The intersection has seen some renewed interest in the past few years, with recent additions including Huddle House , Starbucks and AT&T. The sale includes a majority of the large center at the southeast corner, excluding a section which is now home to private storage units.

The office building at 3020 N. Cypress sold this month. HJH Investments , a local commercial real estate investment company, purchased the building. The building contains 48,000 square feet of class A office space. Pulse Systems Inc. , a medical billing company, has been headquartered at the building since 2012. The company will remain in the building for now, occupying space on the second floor.

A new law firm is opened in the Farm Credit BankBuilding . Local attorneys SylviaPenner and Jeffrey Lowe have formed Penner Lowe Law Firm and have lease 4,400 square feet in the building, which is located at 245 N. Waco . The firm is now located in suite 125. Patrick Ahern, CCIM, SIOR of NAI Martens represented the landlord for the lease.
