Sept. 20 to 27: Point Reyes Farmers Market This quaint, community- oriented market wraps around the front of Toby’s Feed Barn on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will find lively music and a spacious picnic area to enjoy food al fresco. With a focus on summer crops (like tomatoes, peppers, and melons), the emphasis is on flavorful warm- weather produce. Toby’s Feed Barn, Point Reyes Station, 11250 Highway 1. Sept. 27 through October: Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch Located in the small west Marin village of Nicasio, the farm is just west of the Nicasio Village Square right on Nicasio Valley Road. Nicasio Valley Pumpkin Patch is open seven days a week through Halloween from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week. Admission is free; pumpkins are priced individually. Oct. 17: Kathodaya Kathodaya, an intimate Odissi dance featuring Satya G., promises to transport audiences through movement, storytelling and distinctive artistry. The evening will also mark the premiere of the dance film Joy—Sorrow—Hope . Showtime is 7:30 p.m. at the Marin Center Showcase Theatre, 20 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael. $30 in advance; $35 at the door. Visit marincenter.org.
Sept. 24: Radio Drama Redux Step into a world where stories come to life through sound, voice and imagination. The Voicetrax San Francisco voice-over school presents a 7 p.m. live performance of two radio dramas, combining the tradition of old-time radio with the energy and immediacy of theater.
