On June 22, the Southern NJ Chapter of the Appraisal Institute sponsored a joint event with the Delaware and Philadelphia Metro Chapters. The two-hour seminar, The Convergence of Public Policy & Real Estate Valuation, was held at McFadden’s at Citizens Bank Park in the morning. The presenters were Bill Garber, Scott DiBiasio and Brian Rodgers of the Appraisal Institute’s Government Relations office in Washington, DC. After a ballpark feast filled with cheesesteaks and wings, the 40+ appraisers went into the ballpark for an afternoon game to watch the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Saint Louis Cardinals. This is the third year in a row that the three chapters have come together for continuing education credits prior to enjoying a beautiful day of baseball.
