S ave the date for the 2024 Electric Lunch. The traditional event to raise funds for the NI branch of the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) will be held on February 2 at the Europa Hotel, in Belfast. The guests are in for a fun-filled afternoon, with a couple of drinks, quality food and great entertainment. The 2024 lunch will be once more hosted by Adrian Logan. The celebrated journalist will welcome football icon and Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill. Last year, the Electric Lunch welcomed legend snooker player Dennis Taylor as special guest and raised over £24,000. The guests were in for great craic and had the opportunity to win fabulous prizes in the raffle. The NI branch of Electrical Industries Charity is raising vital funds to provide help services to anyone in the electrical trade to overcome problems with
Michael made his Irish League debut for Coleraine in 1984 and played in 13 clubs during his 20-year career. The Portadown-born midfielder led the NI national team between 2012 and 2019 and was reappointed for the position in 2022. Michael will go down in NI footballing history as the third manager ever to lead the country to a major tournament when they successfully qualified for UEFA Euro 2016.
