The Sales Department within LINIAN Headquarters, Glasgow is headed by the Internal Sales Manager Jamie Kirk who has made significant contribution to the LINIAN business since he joined in 2022. “We are excited to see the progress that Jamie has brought. His knowledge of the business, the product range and his communication skills are key for this role here at LINIAN,” said Lynne Jhangeer, Global Commercial Director.
The current Internal Sales Team at LINIAN is based in Scotland. In Ireland, LINIAN’s representation is now growing exponentially in collaboration with CESCO Ireland. The LINIAN story For those of our readers who are not yet familiar with LINIAN, CEO, Ian Arbuckle MIET shares the business’ back story. “Before we founded LINIAN, our family business was in electrical wholesale. My parents, Jean and Wes, ran P&I Supplies, an independent wholesaler in Glasgow for over 30 years.” Growing up in the electrical industry, Ian went on to become an electrician, project manager and electrical design engineer. LINIAN’s first-ever product, the FireClip was developed when a P&I Supplies customer approached Ian’s father, Wes Arbuckle, looking for a safe and easy solution for fixing cables. This is how the idea for a new brand, LINIAN (named after Ian and his sister, Lynne) was born. “We not only help people find solutions; we create them!” added Ian. “LINIAN has over 135 products to suit variety of types of cables. The company is continuously working on new solutions to make the installers’ jobs faster, safer and simpler. We are always looking ahead to produce the best quality of packaging, marketing materials and also, to deliver the USPs of our product across all audiences.”
