issues. Whether it was Points North reporting on high water levels in the Great Lakes region or the news series Our Lives Have Changed sharing the impact of COVID-19 on northern Michigan families, IPR helped us cope.

As did our classical team with music, inspiration, and comfort.

Kids Commute continued to grow as young listeners from small towns in Michigan like Scottville and Kewadin to large states like Texas and California, answered the show’s quizlets. IPR’s GAMEPLAY, a show exploring video game music that launched just last year, was picked up by public radio stations in Rochester, NY; Toledo, OH; Jefferson County, OR; and by KRPS serving Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma. There was also the warmth and creativity of music host and producer, Kate Botello, leading listeners on Singalong Soirees of sea shanties, show tunes, and sixties cinema.
