Grant has just launched its popular Grant heat pump and oil burner training courses for November and December. The sessions are led by Keith Scully, Head of the Grant Training Academy, and are available online through the Grant eLearning Academy, and on site at the manufacturer’s state-of-the-art headquarters in Birr, Co. Offaly. The ‘heat pump technology and appropriate heat emitter sizing’ continues to be one of the most popular courses within the programme and allows delegates to gain better knowledge of Grant’s heat pump and heat emitter technologies. Grant’s Oil Burner training course also continues to prove popular with plumbers and installers across the country, who now also learn how to upgrade an existing burner to be HVO biofuel compatible. STELRAD UNVEILS ELECTRIC RADIATOR SERIES

MITSUBISHI ELECTRICAL IRELAND’S CPD APPROVED BY ENGINEERS IRELAND
Mitsubishi Electrical Ireland’s ‘Air Source Heat Pump & Hot Water Generation’ CPD has been approved by Engineers Ireland, the organisation which has been representing the engineering profession in the country since 1835. The course includes specification of renewable heat sources, a better understanding of the technology, design processes and application of air-source heat pumps within the residential heating sector. The sessions also discuss industry drivers towards Net Zero, heat pump technology and measuring efficiency against traditional heat sources such as oil and gas. This course is only one of the seminars promoted by Mitsubishi Electrical Ireland with installers and technicians to deepen their product understanding, strengthen their skills and keep their knowledge up to date.
