ALTECNIC LAUNCHES FREE ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM

Altecnic Ltd, the leading supplier of hydronic solutions and part of the Caleffi Group, has launched a free online learning platform. The Altecnic Academy features a range of CIBSE-accredited CPD which has been written and delivered by industry experts. The courses were created to support members of the plumbing and heating industry and are available to access at any time and on the go. The courses offer relevant industry topics, including pressure- reducing valves, Legionella considerations when reactivating buildings, system design for efficiency for using electronic heat interface units (HIUs), and expansion vessels. All users who pass courses taken on the Altecnic Academy platform will be issued with a CPD certificate and can log the courses as part of their CPD hours. WARMFLOW RAISES VITAL FUNDS FOR CHARITY

Warmflow, NI’s leading manufacturer of award-winning boilers, has recently held its charity corporate Golf Day. The event was held at the O’Meara Course at Carton House Golf Club in Maynooth, County Kildare, and raised a whooping £23,100 for the Cancer Fund for Children. The charity offers support to children and young people diagnosed with cancer or living with a parent with cancer and is currently building its brand-new Daisy Lodge facility in Co. Mayo. The building will offer a therapeutic short break centre for children

with cancer and their families. Warmflow has been working in partnership with the charity for years and covered all costs for the golf day, ensuring that all funds donated by suppliers and customers before and throughout the day went directly to the charity.
