ICG Recaps A Successful Technical Conference The Independent Carton Group (ICG) reported having an unforgettable experience at its recent Technical Confer- ence, exploring the cutting edge of automation in the fold- ing carton industry. Technical Director Trent Tucker curat- ed a lineup of expert speakers who shared insights into the future of the field. Keynote speaker Nicholas Berente provided valuable perspectives on the practical applications of AI, while pre- sentations from Acieta Robex, Neff Automation, Vorne In- dustries, and Koenig & Bauer highlighted the latest trends and innovations in automation technology. ICG said that co-host member companies Colbert Pack- aging and Indiana Carton Company, Inc. provided invalu- able contributions and support in making the event a suc- cess.

Cary, North Carolina based Container Graphics Corpora- tion (CGC), a supplier of tooling to the corrugated industry, has announced several key leadership promotions as part of its ongoing growth strategy. Bill Farber has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations. In this role he will oversee the day-to-day of CGC’s manufacturing operations. Farber’s extensive ex- perience with CGC includes roles in sales, plant manage- ment, and regional management. Rick Rowe has been elevated to Southeast Region- al Manager. He will continue to manage CGC’s Pineville, North Carolina facility while overseeing all operations and sales management teams in the Southeast. Rowe brings a wealth of technical expertise and a deep understanding of CGC’s products, processes, and customers. Scott Bowen has been promoted to Senior Vice Presi- dent of Engineering. In this expanded role, he will continue to lead internal teams focused on product management and the company’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) program, while developing a new Corporate Engineering function aimed at standardizing product design and man- ufacturing across the company. Christine Zeger has been named Senior Vice Presi- dent of Shared Services, in addition to retaining the role
