Textile Arts Center offers hands-on After School Classes (ages 5-10) in the textile arts. Our After School program runs from 3pm–6pm (3-4pm is snack and homework time, class starts at 4pm) Monday through Thursday in Brooklyn. Classes run in 8-week cycles, rotating through Weaving, Printing & Dyeing, Soft Sculpture, and Sewing & Fashion. You can try one or all four! (https://textileartscenter.com/youth-programs/after- school-classes/) Check out our Tweens program (ages 11-14) on Thursdays! This hands-on class aims to expose students to a variety of textile mediums. Students will be able to draw inspiration from work in fine arts, fashion design, home textiles, and gain insight into the endless possibilities within the world of textiles.
