BLG Environmental Services - November 2022

OUR CLIENTS SAY IT BEST!

When it comes to choosing the perfect planting location, it’s a good idea to step outside and decide which wall gets the most sunlight. Pay close attention to the west- and east-facing walls since these directions typically receive 50% more direct sunlight than the north and south. The walls that absorb the most heat are the perfect spots to plant your energy-saving trees so they can help block the sun’s intense rays. While you’re outside, consider the other spots in your yard that could use a little extra shade. Maybe you have an outdoor table that just gets too hot to use in the summer, or perhaps some chairs you want to keep cool when it’s time to lounge. These are great locations to plant a tree, and adding some shade to your scorching yard can make it an excellent place for you and your guests to gather without worrying about the heat. An energy-saving landscape is also beautiful. Our favorite trees to grow are live oak, red maple, and crape myrtles because these species have broad crowns, perfect for creating abundant shade. They also contain vibrant colors and flowers that make your yard stand out. Let me help you save on costs by designing and planting your new energy-saving landscape. Schedule a consultation today so I can help you get the most savings, and shade, this year!

We researched several landscape design companies before choosing BLG Environmental. Robert and his entire team were responsive, professional, and extremely detailed in executing what our vision was.

We liked what they did so much that we invited them to work on a second location and were pleased with that one too! We would highly recommend Robert and his team as well as use them again.” – Cathy C.

“May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.” –Psalm 33:22 “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” –1 Peter 3:15 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” HAVE YOU HEARD THE GOOD NEWS?
