Dear Friends, Family, and Customers, First and foremost, we would like to express our deepest gratitude.
To those who have built a legacy in this industry—you have set a standard worth dreaming about and paved a path for the future. Your wisdom and guidance are invaluable, and the example you’ve given us is truly a blessing. To those who put up with us day in and day out—you know who you are. We’re sorry (kind of), but as you know, cattle are in our DNA. We just can’t help ourselves. For the sake of our relationships, maybe just don’t work cows with us! To those of you who trust us enough to invest your hard-earned money in our genetics—there is nothing more humbling. We are truly grateful. With that said, I’d like to share the heart behind our cattle. We believe in balance. We believe in longevity. We believe that depth and consistency are found in the cow herd. We believe strength and change come from the bull battery. Over time, we’ve narrowed down the sires we use to build type and consistency in our cattle, while also bringing in certain bloodlines to fill gaps where we felt improvement was needed. We don’t breed for short-term results—we breed with a long-term vision. When we offer animals at the Tried &True Sale, we do so with the goal of providing lasting qualities that can make a consistent, positive impact on your program year after year. We realize that every animal doesn’t fit every program, but that’s the beauty of this business! We all fill pieces of the pie. We are encouraged by the positive feedback we receive, and we are driven by the challenges and critiques. We look forward with excitement to this year’s sale, and we are proud of the cattle we’re offering. We can’t wait to eat, laugh, and catch up with everyone this October.
