MAYOR’S MESSAGE

As we begin a new season of recreation programming, there’s much to celebrate. Not only are there several new classes available, but we’re continuing to upgrade our recreational amenities. The Kinsmen Bridge replacement project is now underway in Participark. By January, the aging trestle will be be removed and a new more pedestrian-friendly design installed. The roof at the Community Centre will also be replaced this fall as the final step in the rehabilitation of the aquatics wing. Even more exciting, 2025 is the 200th anniversary of George Tillson establishing Dereham Forge, the settlement that would later become Tillsonburg. You can learn more at Annandale National Historic Site— and at the Founders Festival in October. Remember, you can stay up to date by using the Town of Tillsonburg app. Get news, program updates, service alerts and more delivered right to your mobile phone.
