TIP 1. PICTURE FRAME: • Avoid butt-joints by using breaker boards and picture framing. These boards can be a complimenting accent color or matching board • Looks great and helps define spaces

Deck: Transcend Havana Gold Picture framed in Transcend Vintage Lantern

Deck: Transcend Island Mist Picture framed in Transcend Island Mist

TIP 2. ROUNDED EDGE : Using a router, round off the top edge of the end cut, this will prevent a sharp edge at the butt joints.

As shown with these corners here.

Clean-Cut Boards

TIP 3. HERRINGBONE CORNER : To help eliminate miter joints, the Herringbone pattern gives an attractive detail to your Deck.

It is recommended that boards be clean-cut on both ends and the factory end is cut off a minimum of 3/16”
