Open the book! Church visitors
ASSEMBLY Open the Book (OtB) offers primary school children an opportunity to hear key Bible stories told by a team of Christians from local churches, who present the stories during assemblies or acts of collective worship. Each presentation takes around 10–15 minutes and has formed a part of the assemblies/collective worship this half term. It is a three-year rolling programme with an additional, but optional year of material based on Christian values for schools. Abbey is lucky to have and welcome Reverend Jenni Cruise from St Hilda’s to lead a series of assemblies for our children.
