Horrible History! Thimblemill visit.
WILLIAM HUSSEY On Monday 6th February, our year 6 librarians visited Thimblemill Library. Firstly, we met the Mayor of Sandwell! After that, he introduced us to the incredible author, William Hussey (who almost got one of his most famous books made into a film). He read part of his book, Haunted. It was very spooky! It was a great experience and we would happily do it all again! Mr. Hussey then taught us about the 1940s and witch finders (people who tracked down and tortured suspected 'witches'). We really enjoyed the afternoon and just wished we had more time with him. Thank you to Thimblemill Library for inviting us.
