Multiplication! A bit different to chanting.
MULTIPLICATION MADNESS Parents of Year 4 students were treated to a fun and informative multiplication workshop recently. Expectations for the students were discussed, including the need to be able to recall times tables up to 12 in preparation for the upcoming multiplication check. The children and their parents had a blast playing a variety of multiplication games, such as TTRS, a Minecraft game, snakes and ladders, card games, array games and dominoes. The children also created multiplication art and sang a song. To make sure the learning continued at home, the children were given a booklet of games and activities to take home. The workshop was a great success, with parents showing their support by attending and actively taking part in the activities. It was evident that the children had a great time, as the energy in the room was infectious. Thank you to all involved
