Lockdown lamb! Author visit
READING FOR PLEASURE Early Years and Year 1 had a visit from an author who read her children's book 'The Lockdown Lamb'. The children enjoyed the rhyming story about a little lamb called Bon Bon who had lost her mum, when some kind children and a crew of farm animals came to her rescue. They were amazed to find out that she was in fact a real lamb and were able to see photos of her and hear about life on the farm where she lives. The staff were so proud of the children's engagement and their super questions. Some lucky learners in each class even won a prize! We hope it inspired the children to write their own stories and to have a life long love of books.

88 GOALS A great way to end the 2022/2023 football season for these sporting stars. Last week marked the end of the football season for Zidan & Eric (4S). They ended the season with victory, having won the Perrywoods FC Summer Cup Final. Zidan & Eric have been attending training every Saturday morning, even those cold early ones since the start of the season. They’ve worked together as a team, took some defeats with heads held high and scored a whooping 88 goals throughout the season. So proud of what Zidan & Eric have achieved this season. Well done boys! Thanks to Zidane’s mum for the story.
