Cut the ribbon! Opening up
READING AMBASSADORS We are pleased to announce the opening of our KS2 School library at lunchtimes! Reading Ambassadors have been excited this week when children flooded in during their lunchtime to share their love for reading. On Tuesday, Dr Kentish was invited by our Reading Ambassadors to cut a red ribbon and make it official. The children coming in are excited to share what they are reading, find a quiet area to read alone, read with one of our Reading Ambassadors or have our Reading Ambassadors read to them. We have lots of exciting events planned in the library at lunchtimes so watch this space! We look forward to welcoming you at lunchtimes.
Thanks to Mrs Bhatoe for the story
FIRST PLACE Samatha and Kurts (both in 4S) came first place in their trophy group. They won 4 games, tied 1 and sadly lost 1. Amazingly, they beat the 2nd strongest team there - the Stourport Swifts. Kurts kept tackling their best player and Samatha saved the team by saving all of the opposition’s shots (5 clean sheets letting no goals in). They were super happy to win and they are going to be pro soon!
Thanks to Samatha & Kurts mum for the story.
