Our California bill, AB 1082, along with hundreds of other bills, was halted in the Assembly Appropriations Committee because of California’s large budget deficit this year. However, efforts are underway to resurrect the bill during the last few weeks of the session in September. We are also actively involved in preparing for the Board of Registered Nursing’s sunset review next year, where the Board must prove their worth to the Legislature.
