International Day of Friendship
International Day of Friendship was observed on July 30 and has an enlightening history. Proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2011 with the idea that friendship between people, countries, cultures, and individuals can inspire peace efforts, the hope is that this day will inspire individuals to build bridges between their own communities.
Building community is one of our core values at Nightingale Education Group. On International Day of Friendship — during Flame Forward! and every day — we encourage our fellow collaborators to promote unity, get to know one another, and celebrate the value of friendship and collaboration.
