Last August, Bernard laid the foundation of the Alumni Association by launching a website, establish- ing communication channels, and building a social media presence to create a hub for alumni. He then personally reached out to graduates to introduce himself and the newly formed function helping them understand its purpose and benefits. As part of his efforts to foster community, Bernard also came up with the idea for the alumni pin that is sent to graduates as both a symbol of pride and a way to connect with fellow alumni in the workplace. This initiative helped graduates feel more connect- ed and visible, both professionally and personally. Bernard is now in the process of establishing an Alumni Advisory Board, which will serve as a strategic bridge between the College and its alumni, further solidifying the function’s role and expanding its impact.
