Over the last year, the enthusiastic responses from alumni after years of little to no engagement inspired Bernard. “It surprised me how warm the welcome was and how everyone was so eager to learn more,” said Bernard. “It shows me that the education being received at the College is deeply valued, and our impact goes further than we realize.”
Bernard emphasizes that throughout this journey, he would not have been successful without the support of many. He credits hundreds of collaborators, his prior experience, a strong growth mindset, and the guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Olsen for helping him generate creative ideas, build meaningful connections, and lead with trust and vision.
