LET FLAME FORWARD! REFRESH AND RECHARGE YOU It’s the best time of the year! Flame Forward! is a unique and meaningful experience where we get to see our fellow collaborators in real life (IRL), learn about Nightingale’s successes and plans, and listen to incredible speakers. Even though Flame Forward! is all that and a bag of chips, it might feel a bit stressful at times. Going from a work-from-home environ- ment to a packed conference room might leave some of us feeling a bit overwhelmed. Feeling stressed from a situation that is different from what you’re used to is a natural human response. Still, there are some things you can do to help keep you energized during the event and feel refreshed when you head back home to start planning for the rest of the year and beyond.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR PHYSICAL HEALTH.

Travel often disrupts our normal sleep, nutrition, and exercise habits. Do your best to find ways to prioritize taking care of your physical well-being by drinking plenty of water, getting seven-to-nine hours of sleep at night, and doing some physical activity. You can keep track of your healthy habits on Personify Health.

Find a small way to have fun and feel joy during the event. This might be something like Taco Tuesday with your team, one-song dance parties during a break, or taking a walk at a nearby park. Find something you like to do and make sure to do it. DO SOMETHING THAT BRINGS YOU JOY.
