When Nightingale was established in 2010, it began training learners while actively pursuing accreditation. Fifteen years later, the organization has grown far beyond our brick-and-mortar beginnings in Ogden, Utah. What started as a small campus full of dreams has become a large- scale organization dedicated to building a relevantly skilled, readily available nursing workforce, representative of the communities they serve. This transformation has been possible because we have embraced change as a necessary part of growth. By adapting, evolving, and staying aligned to our purpose, we have built a collective of 1,000 voices who together shape the future of health care.
While our size and scale are evolving, our purpose, pathway, and impact remain constant. Our growth reflects the important work we do, and from a strategic standpoint, it ensures we are building long-term stability as a college and an organization. To support sustainable growth nationwide, our transition to state- based enrollment and marketing pods allows us to better focus on our intentions and support learners more effectively. These changes are aligned with “The Three R’s,” helping us improve the state of health across the country. In many ways, this concentration brings us back to our roots, and that return — along with other key initiatives — represents a vital approach to our growth and purpose.
