TRADE SHOW NEWS PRINTING United Expo 2026 Concludes In Las Vegas

PRINTING United Expo 2026, produced annually by PRINTING United Alliance, concluded recently follow- ing three days at the Las Vegas Convention Center. According to the show organizers, 27,000 registered attendees from 100 countries visited the show, which comprised 850+ exhibitors spanning approximately one million square feet of show floor space. PRINTING United Expo will return next year in Las Vegas from September 14-16, 2027. Additional preliminary highlights include: • 4.9 million pounds of equipment and technology, an increase of more than half a million pounds com- pared to last year’s event

AI moved to commercial reality across the show floor. Brotech launched its FFX530 flexo press, controlled by an AI model, while Dantex marked the global launch of its AI-driven Pico Adaptive Logic (PAL) natural language tech- nology. Mark Andy and AVT announced an AI-powered QC system linking on-press camera to rewinder. CERM demonstrated its Lexis AI agent automatically extracting order information from unstructured emails.

The 2026 Expo reflected the continued conver- gence of print markets and the rapid evolution of technology across the industry. Artificial intelligence (AI), automation, workflow optimization, workforce de- velopment, embellishment, personalization, and pro- duction efficiency were among the defining themes across the show floor. The return of an even more expansive PRINTING AI Pavilion gave attendees a dedicated destination for exploring practical AI applications already changing how printing companies sell, produce, analyze, and grow. The new Spill the Ink District created an hub for conversation and community, while the debut of the ASI Pavilion connected print service providers with op- portunities in promotional products. The Expo’s expanded Student Day programming, in partnership with The Foundation for Graphic Com- munication Education (The FGCE) welcomed stu- dents and educators for curated show-floor tours, live demonstrations, career conversations, networking, and direct access to industry professionals.

Other areas of the show floor demonstrated a huge range of technologies, from sustainable materials and coatings to RFID labels and production systems, new cur- ing technologies and automated finishing systems. A group of suppliers including Flint Group Digital Xeikon, Kurz, Scribos, Avery Dennison, CERM, Esko, GM and Car- bonQuota demonstrated a complete label workflow show- casing sustainability and brand security in the Label Trail. Education was a major focus of LOUPE Americas 2026. Keynote presentations provided a foundation for the two- day program, while sessions spanned a range of topics, including artificial intelligence, the labor market, mergers and acquisitions and RFID technology. An AI Workshop and Women’s Workshop were other highlights, creating a forum for discussion, networking and exchanging ideas. LOUPE Americas will return to Donald E. Stephens Convention Center from September 12-14, 2028.
