Community Service • Organized Province wide donations of food, water, clothing and financial donations during 2017 and 2018 Hur- ricane season • Donated over $8,500 to Kappa Foun- dation IKARE program 2017-2019 • Raised over $21,000 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital in 2017- 2018 • Scheduled St. Jude Golf tournament in June 2019 • Continues support of our $45,000 commitment to Smithsonian African American Museum. Payment 4 of 5 due in July 2019. • 16 Brothers supported the Senior Kappa Affairs Endowment Fund • Guide Right/Kappa League • Nine certified chapters • William E. Hooker Kappa League Summit (130 young men participated) Learn 2 Live program at NC State University • Beautillion programs raised over $120,000 in college scholarships • Nupe night at the movies to see Black Panther • First National Kappa League Summit
held in Middle Eastern Province (MEP) Reclamation • Reclaimed 96 brothers in period from 2017-2019 • Through the Re-Engagement program, we have helped 9 brothers get their credentials through IHQ New Member Recruitment • We initiated 533 new members in the MEP from Fall 2017 – Spring 2019 • Fall 2017 – 133 New Members • Spring 2018 – 189 New members • Fall 2018 – 43 New Members • Spring 2019 – 168 New Members Leadership • We have established the Officer’s Training Workshop to ensure that all Officers of the chapter and Advisors are trained on Kappaorg.com, MTA and certification process. • Implemented in our bylaws that 75% of the undergraduate chapter mem- bers must attend CRWLC for training • Continued focus and training on Title IX compliance • Continuous monthly conference calls of the Polemarchs and Advisors with province leadership
