academic experience for our TSU Tigers. Every employee must be focused on creating an environment of camaraderie and efficiency to meet all benchmarks and honor our mission.” Some initial successes and achievements include: - Implementation of Vision 2022 (2017- 2022 Strategic Plan) - Increased enrollment, campus safety and emergency preparedness - Enhancement of TSU Online, providing increased access for non- traditional students - Record $1 million raised for students at Maroon & Gray Affair gala - Customer feedback including record- level persistence and graduation rates - Focus on
Dr. Austin A. Lane (Alpha Pi 1992) is the 12 th President of Texas Southern University (TSU) one of the largest HBCUs in the nation. He assumed leadership of Texas Southern on June 6, 2016. Dr. Lane has focused on enhancing the campus culture for students, faculty and staff, while bolstering student recruitment and maintaining strong enrollment and retention programs.
