“The State of the Southern Prov- ince” continues to be the benchmark of Leadership and Achievement through- out all of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Purpose: The Southern Province’s 73 active chapters and its 3,955 members are committed to upholding the Constitu- tion and Statutes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and supporting the programs and initiatives of the 33 rd Ad- ministration, while elevating the legacy and successes of the Great Southern Province. Accomplishments: During the 33 rd Administration, the Southern Province initiated 1,290 new members during the following fraternal years: • 350 new members in 2015-2016 • 220 new members in 2016-2017 • 375 new members in 2017-2018 • 345 new members in 2018-2019 Many accomplishments and ac- colades were bestowed upon the Southern Province at the 83 rd Grand Chapter Meeting, which our Province along with the Orlando (FL) Alumni Chapter; the Winter (FL) Park Alumni Chapter; and the University of Central Florida Chapter the Lambda Omega of Kappa Alpha Psi hosted in Orlando, Florida, July 20-24, 2017. At the 83 rd Grand Chapter meeting, we re-elected the Southern Province's favorite son, Thomas L. Battles, Jr. as the 33 rd Grand Polemarch of Kappa Alpha Psi. Also, we re-elected Linnes Finney, Jr. Esq. as Alumni Grand Board of Direc- tors Member and Sr. Province Vice Polemarch Chauncy E. Haynes as Grand Chapter Nominating Committee Chairman. Other honors and accolades bestowed upon individuals and chap- ters included:

hosting the 86 th Grand Chapter Meet- ing in Tampa, Florida, July 18-23, 2023 • The Southern Province hosted the 11 th National Founder’s Day in Mo- bile, Alabama, January 8-10, 2016. Also, we hosted the 14 th National Founder’s Day in Tampa Florida, January 4-6, 2019 along with hosting the first Undergraduate Summit. Twenty-nine of our undergraduate members attended the Undergraduate Summit. The Southern Province hosted the Grand Board of Directors in Mobile, January 8-9, 2016. We hosted the Grand Board of Directors in Orlando, Novem- ber 18-19, 2016; February 24-25, 2017 and again on May 19-20, 2017, in final preparation of the 83 rd Grand Chapter Meeting. We hosted the Grand Board of Directors in Tampa, January 4-5, 2019. We chartered the Leesburg (FL) Alumni Chapter, February 24, 2017. The Grand Board approved the Charter for the University of West Florida Chap- ter the Rho Lambda of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., on August 11, 2018 and the University of the Bahamas Chapter the Rho Mu of Kappa Alpha Psi Frater- nity, Inc., on August 18, 2018. This is first international undergraduate chapter in the history of Kappa Alpha Psi. A delegation from the Province and Grand Chapter attended the MTA and char- tering ceremony in Nassau, Bahamas. The Grand Board also approved the formation of the Prattville (AL) Alumni Association, Prattville, Alabama. The Southern Province has served as the host Province for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 “Building the Dream” Klassic to benefit the Kappa Alpha Psi Founda- tion at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Gardens, Florida. The chairman of this event was Laurel Wreath Laure- ate Rodney Adkins, a member of Miami (FL) Alumni Chapter. The Province has provided approximately $3,500 in sup-
