Shop With A Kappa is the brainchild of Brother Rod O’Neal, Las Vegas (NV) Alumni Chapter. Our vision is for the Shop With A Kappa program to be adopted as a national program Other Accomplishments • Held Divine Nine Sunday of Hope in Honolulu with Grand Polemarch and Zeta Phi Beta Nation- al President in attendance. All Divine Nine organizations were represented, and over $2,000 was raised for St. Jude Children’s Hospital • Completed pledge of $20,000 to Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture • Brother Nathaniel Girma, Lamb- da Nu Chapter, serves as Grand Lieutenant Strategus • 27 th Grand Polemarch Robert L. Harris, Esq., Berkeley (CA) Alumni Chapter, serves as a member of the Laurel Wreath Commission • Brother Kevin Kinsey, Beverly Hills, Century City (CA) Alumni Chapter, served as Director, Organi- zational Effectiveness • Brother A. Ron Berryman, Los Angeles (CA) Alumni Chapter, serves as Vice President of the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation • Brother Donald Bland, Phoenix (AZ) Alumni Chapter, serves on the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, Board of Directors

The Western Province is Kappa’s largest Province in terms of area covered. The Western Province is comprised of local chapters in Alaska, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Hawaii, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. The Western Province has fully supported all Grand Chapter Initiatives and the Grand Polemarch’s Six-Point Plan. Listed be- low is a summary of Western Province support of the Six Point Plan. Community Service • Continued our support of the Learn2Live initiative by conducting Learn2Live workshops in Honolulu, Hawaii; Inglewood, California; San Diego, California; San Bernardino, California; and Seattle, Washington • Continued partnership with AHF (AIDS Healthcare Foundation) to educate community members about STD’s and their prevention through community health fairs in conjunc- tion with the Healthy Kappas/ Healthy Communities initiative Infrastructure • Continued integration of tech- nology into Province operations and implemented electronic chapter certification process with over 90% of all chapters certified ahead of chapter certification deadline • Conducted online MTA certifi- cation workshop webinars for chap- ters located in remote locations in Honolulu, Japan, and the Republic of Korea Undergraduate Development • Three undergraduates from the Western Province attended 2017 LEAD Kappa • Three undergraduates from the Western Province will attend 2019 LEAD Kappa • Four undergraduates from the Western Province were members of the ULI Theta class

• Conducted Undergraduate Summit at 72 nd Western Province Council designed to prepare attendees for success in their collegiate and profes- sional careers. Grand Polemarch, Battles was in attendance and ad- dressed the undergraduate brothers. Reclamation • A total of 140 brothers were reclaimed in the Western Province, seventy one (71) in the 2017–18 reporting period, and sixty nine (69) in the 2018-19 year to date reporting period • A total of eight (8) brothers were added to the membership roll through the Re-Engagement Program New Member Recruitment & Training • The Western Province has initi- ated 268 new members during the past two years • Reactivated eight (8) under- graduate chapters during the past two years, including three (3) in the Pacific Northwest where there had not been an undergraduate presence since 2014. Executive Leadership Training & Succession Planning • Conducted risk management workshops at 27 th and 28 th Edgar H. Bishop Polemarch and Advisors Summits, 71 st and 72 nd Province Councils, and all 2017 and 2018 C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Training Conferences • Conducted Chapter Advisor certification workshops at 2017 and 2018 C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conferences Guide Right • Held first ever Kappa League Summit on the campus of California State University, Northridge over Fa- ther’s Day weekend. Kappa Leaguers spent the night in a dormitory to get a taste of the college life experience • Shop With A Kappa raised a total
