This year’s Tanana Valley State Fair was one of our first chances to return to a “normal” summer including our usual booth and chance to showcase Alaska mining and our Alaska Miners. AMA teamed up with the Council of Alaska Producers to introduce young Alaskans to gold panning at our booth and handed out thousands of “Alaska Mining Rocks” bags to fairgoers. backpacks at the entrance gates in two-hour shifts. The booths under the eaves of the barn will feature gold panning, prize drawings, mining company representatives and project information, and much more. Thanks and see you at the fair!
