ARFIELD, NJ — DMR Architects has been commissioned to build the new headquarters for the Garfield Police Depart- ment at 411 Midland Ave., one of two police stations it is currently working on in North Jersey, and one of 10 municipal buildings that the firm has designed in the past four years. The 20,000 s/f project will be executed in two phases to allow for uninterrupted ongo- ing operations in the facility which was constructed in the 1960’s. The new facility will G

Hermon Rd. in Salisbury. “We worked closely with CFS to deliver a finished product that would meet their opera- tional needs,” said Chris Ec- cleston , Delmarva Veteran Builders. “The space is clean, professional and provides func- tionality for the business.” Delmarva Veteran Builders demolished the existing 3,300 s/f space to make room for the tenant fit out. The project, com- pleted in ten weeks, includ- ed interior renovations and new floor plan modifications. The new layout, designed by Fisher Architecture , now includes office space, a confer- ence room, lobby, kitchen and cubicle space. “Our goal was to be in our new office comfortably before tax season,” said Mark Eng- berg, certified financial plan- ner for CFS. “Chris delivered on his promise and got us in earlier than anticipated. If anything came up during the building process, Chris would always say,” I got it.” And he meant it.” n
