TRAMONTINA QUALITÄT UND TRADITION SEIT 1911
Aus dem Süden Brasiliens in die weite Welt. Unsere Geschichte beginnt im Jahr 1911. Valentin Tramontina, Sohn italienischer Einwanderer, gründet mit seiner Frau in der kleinen Stadt Carlos Barbosa im südlichsten brasilianischen Bundesstaat, Rio Grande do Sul, eine kleine Schmiedewerkstatt. Schon bald macht er sich einen Namen für hochwertige und langlebige Messer. Der kleine Familienbetrieb florierte und entwickelte sich im Lauf eines guten Jahrhunderts in eine internatio - nal tätige Unternehmensgruppe mit insgesamt 7 Werken in ganz Brasilien, eigenen Stores, Distributions- und Tochterunternehmen rund um den Globus und weit über 10.000 Mitarbeitern. Und bis heute liegt unsere Ge- schichte in Familienhänden – bereits in der dritten Generation. Tramontina exportiert mittlerweile in über 120 Länder und fertigt heute durch modernste Herstellungstechnologien ein breites Sortiment mit über 22.000 Produkten – darunter Haushaltsgeräte, Küchenutensilien, Geschirr, Möbel und Werkzeuge.

From the south of Brazil to the wide world. Our story begins in 1911, when Valentin Tramontina, the son of Italian immigrants, founded a small bla- cksmith‘s workshop with his wife in the small town of Carlos Barbosa in the southernmost Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. He soon made a name for himself for high-quality and durable knives. The small family business flourished and, over the course of a good century, developed into an internationally active group of companies with a total of 7 factories throughout Brazil, its own stores, distribution and sub- sidiary companies around the globe and well over 10.000 employees. And to this day, our history is in family hands - now in its third generation. Today, Tramontina exports to over 120 countries and and uses state-of- the-art manufacturing technologies to produce a wide range of over 22.000 products - including household appliances, kitchen utensils, tableware, furniture and tools.
