For younger women, she also places enormous value on mentorship.
“You can have mentors within your company. You can have mentors outside of your company. And you’re going to have mentors outside of your industries.” She still seeks perspective from people with different experiences because some of the most useful insight can come from somewhere unexpected. When LeBon considers what Women Building the Future means, she sees something larger than individual advancement.
As more women move into leadership, she says, “the culture and the definition of leadership changes.”
That is where the weight of her journey becomes clearest.
A career can be measured in titles, cases, contracts, clients and years. But influence is harder to quantify. It lives in the decisions someone makes because you taught them how to think, the risk a business avoids because you helped them see it coming, and the confidence a younger woman carries into a room because someone once showed her how to prepare for it. In the end the most enduring leaders are not remembered for how far they rose, but for how much stronger others became in their presence.
For businesses working in construction, government contracting and other highly regulated industries, the right legal and strategic guidance can help turn complexity into clarity.
