However, we are opposed to rushed, one-size-fits-all policies like S4246A/ A5322A that do not reflect the complexities of the state’s recycling system and could impact the long-term success of highly recycled materials, like paper. "Paper recycling is a model that works. We encourage lawmakers to oppose hasty passage of S4246A/A5322A and instead support a statewide needs assessment to bet- ter understand New York's recycling requirements."
