Coastal Container Invests In Isowa Falcon FFG

Holland, Michigan based Coastal Container announced the installation of a new 4-color Isowa Falcon flexo fold- er gluer. The company says the investment enhances its high-speed converting operations and underscores its commitment to innovation and operational excellence. The latest addition follows the announcement of a 3-color Isowa Ibis in April 2025. Together, these machines form the foundation of a mirrored flexo layout developed in collaboration with Isowa, Dücker, and Mosca. The new layout features a left-hand Isowa Ibis operating in tandem with a mirrored Isowa Falcon. Both machines are support- ed by integrated Dücker material handling systems, includ- ing prefeeders, automated palletizers, and mesh top in- feed/outfeed conveyors. Each line is equipped with Mosca bundlers to optimize bundling efficiency and throughput. A key highlight of this configuration is the implementa- tion of “set while run” technology on both machines. This feature enables rapid job changeovers and high-speed production without compromising quality — critical for meeting Coastal’s long-term growth objectives and deliv- ering exceptional customer value. “Our investment sets us apart from our competitors.
