"/ was told that Christ and Buddha were both saviours and that the next deliverer we can ex pect is in South America and is 15 years old now. Could you explain this?" A. First of all, the Lord Jesus Christ is not on the same plane as any one else who has ever lived or who will ever live. There will nev er be one like Him. He is God's only begotten Son. Unlike any of those past, present or future lead ers, the Lord Jesus Christ is 100 per cent deity and 100 per cent humanity. He is the second person of the Trinity and is now at the right hand of the Father. He is our Saviour and Redeemer. The pro cess of making a god out of a mere man is called "apotheosis." The same has happened all over the earth. In the future this will be complete ly fulfilled. In 2:1 the prophecy will take place at the day of the Lord (2:11). In Revelation 6:12, 15 we find another view of this event taking place. In this hour we read that men will hide tehmselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains. So desperate will be those times that they will seek death and not find it. The Bible says, "For the great day of His wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" Joel 2:10 refers to this period. Although it has been pantally fulfilled in times past, it will have its completion at this fu ture hour. Q. Wichita, Kans. "Please explain Matthew 16:27 , 19:27-30, I Corin thians 3:14 and Revelation 22:12. When will we as Christians be giv en rewards for works? In the par able of the talents did the two receive higher rewards because of works?" A. First of all, consider the con text and see what the sacred writer is speaking about. In the Gospel accounts we consider the words of our Saviour. In Matthew 16:27, the Lord is speaking about disciple- ship. He refers to the Son of Man which means His kingly regal rights.
