made a plan of action to meet the need of her people. She proceeded patiently and wisely to approach him on behalf of God's people. She dressed as a queen with dig nity, taking a humble place, know ing, "If I perish, I perish." The king's affections for her, as his wife, were tested. It would give her the opportunity of experiencing the strength of the Lord. In our next study, we will see even further how the Lord works as a result of such faith and determination. In the
lives of His chosen people, as well as in our lives today, we need to let God have the preeminence so that His perfect will may be achieved in and through us for His own honor and glory. In continuing the study of God's dealings with His chosen people before the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, we have seen how wicked Haman became the tool of the devil in an attempt to eradicate this most important race of peo ple.
