Outdoor Education Update
The Adventure Club were surprised to find so much snow on the ground last week for their off - road night riding trip to Haldon Forest. Although speeds were limited, riding in the snow was a new experience for all. Everybody had a fantastic time and a very memorable ride. The newly formed Prep and Senior Climbing Squads enjoyed their first taste of competition bouldering last Friday. The competition was the first in the winter bouldering league organised at The Hangar' in Exeter. It was great to see so many of our climbers having a go at some really difficult boulders with confidence. Well done to all. Last Sunday saw the first of this Year's Gold DofE whitewater training trips. The Year 12 pupils coped very well with the whitewater and all of them managed to stay in the boats, despite some very testing rapids and a few 'hairy' moments. Well done to all!
