KUSTENDORF KLASIK / KUSTENDORF CLASSIC MLADI MUZIČARI IZ TRI ZEMLJE TAKMIČE SE ZA MATRJOŠKU / YOUNG MUSICIANS FROM THREE COUNTRIES COMPETE FOR THE MATRYOSHKA
ETNO-SELO DRVENGRAD biće od 31. avgusta do 3. septembra domaćin 11. Međunarodnog festivala klasične muzike Kustendorf KLASIK. Ovaj događaj od 2013. godine organizuje reditelj Emir Kusturica, uz podršku ruske kompanije „Gasprom njeft“. Na programu festivala su radionice i koncerti uz uče- šće zvezda svetske klasične muzike, a glavni doga- đaj je takmičenje mladih izvođača iz Rusije, Beloru- sije i Srbije. Mladi muzičari će se takmičiti za glavnu nagradu – Zlatnu matrjošku, prepoznatljivu rusku figuru-igračku. Na repertoaru takmičara biće dela za klavir, duvač- ke i gudačke instrumente, kao i vokalne kompozi- cije. Njihovo umeće ocenjivaće poznati muziča- ri, umetnički rukovodilac Marijinskog teatra (Sankt Peterburg) Valerij Gergijev i glavni dirigent Među- narodnog simfonijskog orkestra „Tavričeski“ Miha- il Golikov.
THE DRVENGRAD ETHNO VILLAGE will host the 11th Ku- stendorf CLASSIC International Festival of Classical Mu- sic from 31 st August to 3 rd September. This event has been organised annually by film director Emir Kusturica sin- ce 2013, with the support of Russian company Gazprom Neft. The festival’s programme encompasses workshops and concerts, with the participation of stars of classical music from around the world, while the main event is a competition between young musicians from Russia, Be- larus and Serbia, who compete for the main prize of the Golden Matryoshka, named after the recognisable Ru- ssian nesting dolls. The competitors’ repertoire includes pieces for piano, wind instruments and string instruments, as well as vocal compositions. Their abilities will be adjudi- cated by renowned musicians, as well as conductor Va- lery Gergiev, artistic director of Mariinsky Theatre (St. Pe- tersburg), and Mikhail Golikov, chief conductor of the Tavrichesky International Symphony Orchestra.
