“Inquiries and new machine sales did slow down in Q4 2022 in the US, and we’re now seeing activity in both at pre-pandemic levels. Demand still remains strong due in large part to the explosion in e-commerce demand, and box maker’s needs for the high efficiencies, low produc- tion costs, and extremely low annual cost of ownership Isowa equipment provides. “On the corrugating side, several new inquiries are ac- tive for corrugator components, dominated by demand for our CF40 cartridge singlefacers, our new CF60 singlefacer, and HSS5 Slitter/Scorers, which can be offered in tandem configuration. Both components can be manufactured in widths up to 110-inches to fit into wider corrugators.” Call (303) 718-0023. E-mail erbek@isowa.com. ing the company a reputation for quality and reliability. “The Kolbus product lines, including the Hycorr series flexo rotary die cutters, AutoBox boxmaking machines, and the German-built Kolbus RD 115S Servo driven flexo rotary die cutter are sure to impress. “Lead time is a major concern for converters due to supply chain issues, however due to Kolbus’ access to raw materials and the foundry on-site in Rahden, Germany, Kol- bus has maintained the ability to deliver machines within the year. “Companies across the US have installed the Kolbus RD 115S Graphics Series flexo rotary die cutter. This ad- vanced machine features an available pneumatic plate lock-up system for on-the-run plate skewing for fine ad- justment. This feature allows operators to adjust the plate while running, without having to open the die cutter. The modular machine concept includes up to eight print units, both top and bottom print, plus a die cutting module for corrugated board in one highly automated in-line system. An investment in the RD 115S will strengthen packaging producers’ ability to grow and adapt quickly to changing market needs. “Most recently, Wasatch Container installed a five-color RD 115S with top print capabilities. This installation is part of a multi-million dollar plant expansion at their Salt Lake City facility. According to Wasatch’s Jerry Frisch, ‘We’re very excited to upgrade our rotary die cut print capabilities and offer our customers new options from the Kolbus RD
