Natalia Del Cid has been an integral part of Associated Staffing Inc. since 1998, starting as a receptionist and steadily advancing through the company. She became a Recruiter in 2005 and earned her current role as Senior Operations Manager in 2017. Known for her exceptional customer service, Natalia is beloved by clients and colleagues alike, always taking the time to know everyone by name. Beyond her career, Natalia is committed to her community. She has lived in Grand Island for 28 years and is an active volunteer at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she has held various positions on the church council. She also serves as Treasurer and Secretary. Natalia’s dedication extends to her involvement with Habitat for Humanity and her work as a mentor in the Edge Program. As a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow Class 33, she fosters leadership development in others while advocating for the Hispanic community’s success.

Natalia is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need and serves as a leader and mentor for youth, consistently opening her heart to support others. Her life embodies hard work, compassion, and selflessness. Through her involvement in church, leadership programs, and volunteer work, Natalia consistently serves as a mentor, offering guidance and support. Whether organizing church assemblies, assisting in community development, or raising children who were not her own, she is the definition of dedication and sacrifice. Natalia’s commitment to both her professional growth and community involvement continues to inspire and leave a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
Misty Schaecher, a proud Grand Island native, graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1995. Her career began in 1998 when she joined Western Nebraska Legal Services (now Nebraska Legal Aid) as a paralegal. This marked her entry into the nonprofit world, where she discovered her passion for helping the underserved. Throughout her career, Misty has been dedicated to advocating for vulnerable populations and improving her community. In 2014, Misty earned her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from Bellevue University, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Doane University in 2020. Her education, along with her extensive experience, has fueled her work as a victim advocate, forensic interviewer of children, and public health professional. Today, Misty is the Executive Director of Third City Community Clinic, where she continues her mission to improve healthcare access for underserved individuals in Grand Island. Misty is also the co-owner of Lily Rose Fresh Cut Flowers, a business she launched with her husband in 2020. Through Lily Rose, she has empowered local entrepreneurs by offering guidance and mentorship in creating business plans and strategies for success. Misty is committed to fostering a thriving local business community. In Spring 2024, Misty created the Grand Island Area Farmers Market, a project that has become a cornerstone of the community. What started as an idea has grown into a popular downtown event, attracting over 30 vendors each weekend. Misty’s passion, hard work, and innovative ideas have turned the market into an asset that supports local businesses and provides fresh goods. Despite the challenges of organizing such an event, Misty handles it with grace, always brainstorming new ways to enhance the market. Misty’s dedication to the Grand Island community, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to advocacy make her an invaluable leader. She is a constant source of support, always offering her time and expertise to help others succeed. Misty’s positive mindset, compassion, and ideas continue to drive positive change in Grand Island, making her a true community champion.
Janice Reeves was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. After working various jobs, she found her stride in retail sales and management. At age 36, she moved to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where she later began a 13-year career in law enforcement. Following an on-the-job injury, she took a disability retirement—but not before completing her college degree and being accepted into the University of Nebraska Law School. After graduating, Jan worked in the Hall County Attorney’s Office in Grand Island, then spent over 20 years in private practice, primarily serving as a Guardian Ad Litem for abused and neglected children. Today, she’s back with the County Attorney’s Office, focusing exclusively on child welfare cases, often involving foster care. She currently advocates for the best interests of over 140 children. Jan is known for her tireless dedication, attention to detail, and her willingness to mentor others in the legal field. She has a true “open door, ringer on” policy—always available

She often shares wisdom from her years of experience and once said, “If I can help just one person better understand our role in helping the children of our community, the understanding will continue to grow. And in time, that will speak for itself.” A proud mother of five, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother of two, Jan’s life and work reflect her unwavering commitment to children, families, and her community.
