ADN Nursing Program Description

There is a shortage of qualified nurses in our communities, and our goal as a program is to facilitate our students’ learning process in obtaining the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for a professional registered nurse. Our graduates are highly sought after and do well in their chosen careers. The IECC-OCC Associate Degree in Nursing program is offered at Frontier Community College, Lincoln Trail College, Olney Central College, and Wabash Valley College. Our hope is that you are able to obtain your degree at a site that fits your needs and prepares you for a future in nursing in a setting that is right for you. We are hometown and family- oriented and provide a learning experience close to home. As a program accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Education in Nursing and approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, we strive to ensure you are given the best opportunity to achieve your goal of becoming a nurse. We hope you will consider Wabash Valley College as a cost-effective option to begin your career in the health industry.
