The budgetary gap between tuition income and the actual cost of School operations is covered primarily by donations to The Cathedral School Fund. It serves as a silent scholarship for every boy at the school. In 2018-2019, The Cathedral School Fund was budgeted to raise $995,000 and we raised $1,258,493 in gifts for the School. The Parents Association contributed an additional $185,000 to the School’s operating budget. Draw from the endowment covered the remaining amount required to run the School’s exemplary programs. In the 2019-20 year, we have budgeted to raise $1.13M through the Cathedral School Fund and $185,000 through the Parents Association. As you can see from the chart to the right, The Cathedral School Fund represents the largest portion of funds raised for the School’s annual operations.
