Quality Improvement ...in Rabies Response
Step 1: Identify the challenge: Identified inconsistent pathways to rabies post-exposure prophylaxis based on where patients first accessed the healthcare system. Step 2: Address the challenge: Collaborated with healthcare partners to develop a standardized referral process. Step 3: Analyze whether the process is easier for patients or if there are additional barriers we can address. Quality improvement helps ensure we provide the best possible services by evaluating our processes and making improvements. Here is an example of a project we worked on.
