We love it when a plan comes together! We rarely will ever have the need or desire to purchase Simmental females to bring into this operation but if we do, we do it with a plan and conviction. Chris Nicholson at Lazy C Diamond Ranch made it pretty evident he was cutting loose of some of his very top end open heifers as they transitioned to a fall sale. We could not wait to get these two females mated up to Statesman and wow did it work! When we saw Chris flushed the $200,000 C4 for to W/C Need 4 Speed we were immediately drawn in. W/C Need4Speed was one of the most physically impressive bulls we have ever sold and commanded $60,000 to Hilbrands. This bull physically reminds us so much of Need4Speed. Lot 50 will be one of most incredible combinations of data, EPD profile and physical quality to sell anywhere in the country this year. On paper he’s got it all from low birth to solid growth and combines it with stayability and carcass merit. Very few Purebred bulls can match his EPD profile in the ASA database. Then couple that with the fact he is one easy stud to find in the pen. He’s got good big feet, extra bone, expressive muscle, and tremendous hair.
