He is a month behind the older guys but weighed 760 pounds out of the mountains on August 31. By early October he was 894 and by mid-December he weighed a whopping 1222 – well short of a year. He is out of Jacobson Morgan 8060 – a female we purchased from the Jacobsons. Grindstone 573 is in the top quartile for marbling and REA as well as yearling weight and ADG. He is in the 19th percentile for yearling gain.
