Greetings Cattle Enthusiasts: Thank you for taking the time to look over our offering! We would love to personally show you the bulls any time! We feel we have the best set of Black Balancer and Black Angus bulls we have ever raised. The uniformity and consistency run deep so there are several top prospects! 2025 was a year of changes. My partner of 28 years, Brian, decided he wanted to retire near the end of the year and he is already being missed, but we will readjust and make the necessary changes. We have integrated both Gina and Jana into an ownership/part- nership and both daughters love the cattle and spend countless hours studying, doctoring and nurturing them so we are hopeful the new partnership will make the cattle operation even better. They are both very talented and the reason we have the top-quality offering. We talk cattle 24/7, 365! We have found that SimAngus, Balancer or Angus really work good in rotation and would encourage any of you that have used one specific set of bulls for several years to consider crossing over into one of the other categories as I’m sure it will improve your calf crop. Heterosis still works! New data out of the Meat Animal Research Center in Nebraska has shown that the Balancer female has a 22.7# weaning weight advantage no matter which sire was used — a fact we’ve witnessed here on our ranch. There’s definately a maternal advantage with Balancers! If you have specific questions regarding cows, I would encourage you to contact either Jana or Gina as they spend most of their time with them and know them well. Part of the Angus cows, red Simmental and low percentage black Balancers are calved and located on the north ranch and if you need information on them you can call Dustin, our north ranch manager. The bulls will sell nearly in catalog order with lots 1-48 selling then jumping to lots 105-219 after that we will finish with the rest of the black Balancers 49-104. We hope you are can come view the bulls sale day or any time prior. We are always excited to show the bulls and their mothers. If you can’t attend, make sure to watch on DVAuction where videos of each individual bull will be posted approximately 2 weeks prior to the sale. Ultrasound data should be available about 1 week prior to the sale.
