N261 is out of a first calf heifer and should also be an excellent choice if you’ve got a set of heifers to breed. Above average efficiency and a top 15% API and top 25% TI!
N578 has top 25% actual feed efficiency numbers coupled with top CE and BW EPDs putting him in the heifer safe category. He should sire great replacements, and he has a top 4% API and top 5% TI!
Ken Thorstenson Memorial Scholarship The family of Ken Thorstenson established this scholarship in loving memory of a man who loved family, farming and raising cattle. Ken was a generous supporter of youth, junior Gelbvieh associations, and 4-H. He had a heart for those who were less fortunate, and those not necessarily “straight A” students. This scholarship reflects the sentiments held by Ken.
Three $1000 scholarships are available to graduating seniors who are pursuing a minimum of an associate’s degree at a col- lege, university or technical institute. Preference will be given to students with financial need who have declared a major area in an agriculture-related field. A complete application is posted at www.BalancerBulls.com and is due April 15.
