I never had the opportunity to grow up, because most of my life I've had to work. They told me the only thing I need to work on is my recovery.” In the early stages of recovery, “Every day is a struggle,” Thornton says. “But every day I don't use is a damn good day.” “I could talk about that program all day. On the streets, people pretend to care, that only lasts for so long. The people at Men and Women all care, and they show you love. Their network of people also shows you the same love. It's not a program that leaves you to fend for yourself,” Thornton says. He has come a long way in less than three was a pair of pants and a shirt.
